Why are RattanVibe bread proofing baskets (also known as banneton baskets) high-quality?

A premium rattan bread proofing basket requires excellent raw materials and outstanding craftsmanship, and we happen to be experts in designing rattan products.

We are deeply familiar with the material properties of rattan. Starting with the raw materials, we select sturdy, durable, and highly resilient rattan from Southeast Asia, where the year-round hot and humid environment is perfect for its growth. The rattan undergoes multiple processes—sorting, polishing, and boiling—until it becomes uniformly thick, moisture-resistant, and moth-proof. We insist on designs that maximize the material's natural characteristics, and our baskets are woven by experienced artisans. The product delivered to your hands not only retains the natural beauty of rattan but also helps you achieve better sourdough fermentation.

We also offer a version that retains the natural color of the rattan (golden brown). This version requires a longer drying time for moisture resistance, all to bring out the absolute best of the rattan's natural characteristics.

Why is rattan the best material for making bread proofing baskets?

Its unique porous structure is perfectly suited for the sourdough fermentation environment, and the natural plant aroma of rattan can impart a hint of natural rustic flavor to the dough.

What sizes do your bannetons come in, and what kind of bread are they suitable for?

We offer 10 different shapes and sizes, suitable for everything from small test loaves to large family-sized breads. Our selection includes Round sizes in 6", 8", 9", 10", and 12", and Oval sizes in 6", 8", 10", and 12".

Who are your bannetons suitable for?

Our products are perfect for anyone interested in sourdough baking.

For beginners, we offer smaller sizes with the option to add a basic baking kit and a video tutorial for truffle cheese rustic bread.

For those with some baking experience, we provide multi-piece options like 2-piece bundles and sets of 3. For expert bakers, we have a "natural color" version that retains even more of the raw rattan characteristics.

We also cater to bakery owners with our extra-large 12" bannetons and wholesale services.

Besides bannetons, what other sourdough-related products do you offer?

We offer banneton accessories, such as individual single-layer and double-layer cloth liners, which you can purchase separately to suit your baking habits.

We also carry all the essentials for the entire baking process. Our Baking Kit includes a Bread Lame, Dough Whisk, Steel Scraper, Bowl Scraper, and Cooking Brush. For dough preparation, we offer a Sourdough Starter Jar Kit and a Sourdough Starter Jar Warmer.

What makes your storage and decor products special?

Our storage and decor products are all handcrafted from natural rattan. We refuse to use plastic materials like PE faux rattan. We exclusively use natural materials to preserve their organic aesthetics, complementing a variety of home decor styles (including modern, minimalist, rustic, and natural Nordic styles).
